Same as mine except

mine was a sunburst. Sort of a weird cross between cherry sunburst and tobacco sunburst, as I recall. Really yellow in the middle, but faded out to a dark reddish brown, almost black at the edge.

are you talking about the faded series? the faded guitars were less than 800, but that's the only doublecut that I can remember selling for close to that price. if that is what you're talking about though, they had a single cutaway for the same or similar price as the double cut in the faded series.
