Hey, I'm recording drums, and i was wondering which mics i should use for the overheads. i was gonna use a 57 for the floor tom, an audix i5 for the snare, and i guess a 58 for a room mic.
I have two mxl condensors that match, should i use them? and with those mics i lifted above does anyone have a better idea of which mics to use for which drum then what i have, i was trying it out and it sounded fine to me.
