I know Ludwig is no longer considered the King of drums anymore. There's a red Ludwig kit at a thrift shop for $90 and it's been there for weeks. It's in really nice condition. It only has one cymbal and there's no hi hat. But, kick, one or two mount toms, one floor tom and a snare. It's such a shame. If I had a place to play them, I'd have bought them weeks ago.

Ludwigs.

I own a set of Pearls too. The Ludwigs just sound better all around.

I've always believed that any musical instrument will always find a home with somebody it suits - and other people's opinions might not actually work. We do it with mics, preamps, monitors all the time - If you bang the drums and the noise is what you want, is the make actually that vital.
