I listened to some of the tracks. Find the bass sitting in there nicely. It would have been very easy to make it heavier in the mix if that had been wanted, but that would have gone to the cost of other things, like kick.
Reminds me a bit of Ultraspank.
Another thing I see time and time again, all those pedals, pods etc. UNLESS they are especially designed for bass use (and sometimes even those who are) they have a strong midrange bias.
Unless you use all grade A circuitry, you will end up loosing frequency range - especially your lows and hight will be lost. More pedals and your loss increases sharply.
The answer?
1. Use studio quality effects instead of pedals, you can just use a pedalboard as a controller only.
2. Use a high quality preamp with an instrument input, or a very high quality dorect box. My preference currently is to use a little Grace 101.
