Guitar string/pick clicks

Hey James, thanks...lots of good stuff there about recording and mics. Some real good lit. .
 
Some utter bullshit as well... take that article with a serious 'grain of salt' [along with most other things you read about the recording arts!!] and experiment.

Things outlined in articles are very often good 'starting points' but are never 'gospel truth' [which goes double for the crap I've been known to write on occassion]
 
I all grown up now and pretty smart too...I take all "advice" with a grain of salt.

yeah, i read that article before, and it did me no good at all. i tried all the techniques listed there and none of them sounded good to me. best place to start stereo x/y. eliminates most objectionable pick click, and provides great tone. [take that with a whole bunch of grains of salt].
