Ok, here is an attempt to get ALL of Snakes crazy leads in here. I thought it would just be a fun thing to have. I really had trouble putting it in, as so many of teh tones ended up stepping on each other, so I basically just adjusted some volumes, and ran a multiband compressor over it. :eek:

Wanking Version....
 
This is a good version - the leads change it up and fill it out. This is a lead guitar lover's feast...The early fade/change up is gone now - which works ok for me - the song is more consistent. I would like the vocals to come up a bunch. I definitely like the snare you have picked for this but the kick could be louder. Everything else seems to have a pretty good level now. That multiband compressor sure seems to work good too..... Cool :cool: :cool: :cool:

Thanks, man. I'd really like to figure out how to use some of the stuff I have, properly, but man, it can mess the tunes up so quickly.... :eek:
 
Guitars sound cool! Drums could use some help. I know programming them is a real pain!!! Not sure what you are using but I know some guys are using loops like Drums on Demand that sound really cool. I think maybe the snare is what
kinda sounds cheezy. Maybe a different groove might help. Of course that is just my opinion. Of course as you mentioned already, getting a real drummer would be cool!

I like how the intro fades and the song starts. Cool effect!

Thanks,man. Yeah, the drums are giving me fits. I'm working on them right now. I think I tried to mix in too many tracks, so I killed a few of the mics. The snare was in everyone of them, so it is way overdone.

Is that a C or D drop-tuning? I always like a bit of drop tune.

Thanks, man. It's actually just low B. I have a 6 string set with the low strings of a 7 string setup. Just wanted something different.

Alien Love Secrets and BAD Horsie, thats what struck me about the chugging, awesome chugging sounds dude. The wanking version is pretty cool too, although perhaps a little too much, but I'm sure you new that ;-). Very metallica-esque sound.
