Yes, it does sound much better. On the first version, I stepped on the wrong preset button on my pedal which gave it to much distortion. This latest one, I just left it on the "lighter" setting.. That is the main difference, though I do think the new Fender had something to do with it. The distortion on the first version, I feel, covered up the tube sound that you can hear better on the new one. I really like the "AcousticVerb", its a program that I downloaded from DSP-FX. It wasnt cheep (damn thing cost $140) but it fixed my problem and I use it on everything now. About the bass, some people say its to "boomy" others say they cant even hear it. I think I should change the acousticverb on it, I've noticed its boomyness as well. A bass in a big reflective room just doesnt do it, I think i'll try a smaller room or something to tighten it up a bit. Anyway, thanks for ya'lls input!
