2. Guys, I promise you, I have used, sold, or maintained just about every tracker and editor,
3. ....just trust me, give me an instance or scenario where Acid can't do something that SF can, go on, I dare you!
1. That's good for you.
2. That very well may be true.
3. Okay, let us use this example for an instance.....
Hypothetically speaking, let say that I wanted to remix a song that uses a "live" drummer. We'll pick the song 'Another One Bites the Dust' by "Queen".
Let's also assume that I don't want to change the tempo of the song. I just want to remix the song so that it is "on beat".
I would open the song in SF.
I would highlight the first two (2) beats of the song.
I would copy those two (2) beats, then paste the beats under its own chronological name.
I would then repeat the process for every two (2) beats of the song until the end of the song.
I would then open ALL of the individual WAV.s in Acid (as LOOPs).
Then I would Ctrl-M all of the pieces. That in turn, would render the song into a "on-beat" version of the original song.
Now, as you already know, Mr. Omnipotent C D'Asta, that feat cannot be accomplished with Acid.
Yes, I know that you can open the original AOBtD with the BEATMAPPER function, but since the song AOBtD has a "live" drummer the Beatmapper function will NOT work.
Yes, I also know that you can open AOBtD, then change the FORCE DIVISIONS and STRETCHING METHOD once you change the TRACK TYPE. However, most peoples computers won't be able to handle a six (6) minute song as a loop (once you change the TRACK TYPE). AND.... the song still won't be "on-beat" after changing the STRETCHING METHOD and/or FORCE DIVISIONS.
I believe that I have conveyed this information in a manner that is simple enough for even your pedestrian mind C D'Asta.
Si vous plait, do not doubt my veracity when I make this statement. I hope that you do not lack the eyes to see the unparalled from the parallel. The weakness of your knowledge will be apparent to everyone that reads this post, if you can not comprehend the procedure I posted that proved your statements as false.
Peace...
