http://www.combo-organ.com/VoxPowerCable.JPG, what exactly is a 'reaming' tool? When it comes to tools I'm totally clueless, and I need to try this to fit a connection. I found a picture of the "leatherman punch", but it just looks like plyers with all the knives and gadgets at the handles. Any common household tool I could use to widen the metal contacts?

Reaming tools are just specialized tools for making holes, sockets, things like that nature bigger.

I found one similar to what you may need. You don't necessarily need this particular tool. Most leatherman multipurpose tools have a leather punch (why they are called that) on them that looks like a tapered screw driver tip, and that will work.
Here is the link to the reaming tool I found. It's made for plastic, but like I said, the leatherman tool will work, and it will probably be easier to find:

Good luck!

A reaming tool is just something to enlarge a hole. In this case I think they just want you to stick something round (and taypered) in the connectors to open them up some. A small philips screw driver might work in a pinch or one jaw of a needle nose pliers.

Or does anyone have any idea where I could buy such a plug, like -- maybe an adaptor? I've seen some pics on the net of foreign AC adaptor plugs but I dunno if they'd fit. Any ideas?

Most of the foreign adaptors I've seen are in a configuration that won't fit in other voltage recepticles.

Ah k, just making sure. I'll probably be able to dig up some sort in tool in this house, have a bunch lying around.

Years ago I bought a reaming tool at Radio Shack and have used it a ton over the years. I like reaming. :D

Don't wanna get reamed. :(

Lol, sure are...man and I thought I had a dirty mind.

Man does somebody just have an AC cord that would fit something old like that? Drivin' me nuts, and I don't want to buy a cord for 40 bucks off eBay either, *sigh*.
