Well, it's looking shaky
they received multiple offers on the home..... Tried to make it clear that we really wanted this house. In other words we would look at counter offers, but who knows. Sort of bummed on the whole thing, cause there is nothing else out there like this house.
We shall see. Really wishing we had offered full asking price at this point.
Anyways. I'll let you know fo certain.

Well someone elses bid was accepted, but they are still in thier inspection period and have not signed off yet. Supposedly two other people have bid and backed out so I'm hoping the same happens here. We plan on dumping money into the house so something would have to be terribly wrong with it for us to back out.

Once they accept an offer from someone else, that person has a certain amount of time to inspect the property and sign off. That's where were at.
I'm pretty sure it's over for us, but there is a very slim chance they could back out.

Too bad if you don't get the house - but most things seem to work out the way they were meant to be, so maybe building was simply your destiny.
If you do build, remember that in addition to the live room, control, drum room and vocal booth - you can now also design an artist lounge/game room and maybe his & her bathrooms (with perhaps a sauna) - maybe even a live echo chamber

It's my own damn fault. I told my self not to get too invested in that house, but I couldn't help but picture my self kicking back on the deck looking at the river and over to Washington. Huge fricken house too. Oh well. I always wanted some property anyways. Hopefully with trees. I don't want to live in the middle of a field I don't want a 5 acre lawn to mow
The most expensive land around here is flat fields. Just doesn't do it for me.
Well I shouldn't say it's the most expensive. If it's loggable with lot's of fir and cedar trees, that's probably the most expensive.
I want something in the middle.

The thought had crossed my mind
Let loose some huge river rats in there. Perhaps create an easily repaired roof leak. Loosen a few electrical conections. Of corse we can't forget the blood and huge pentagram on the basement floor from the rituals.F.S.

The people backed out The listing agent called our agent today and asked if we where still interested. Big thumbs up. As long as the things not sliding down the hill I don't see anything stopping us. I can't see that it would be sliding down the hill cause the driveway slab and the walkway meet up with the house nicely. I don't think that other people understood just how much work was needed on the house. We are willing to dump an extra 30 to 50 k into reflooring the finished area and finshing the studio area. Hell around here you ought to be able to gut the house to the studs on the inside and redo it for 50k.
Pretty excited! Not as much as before, but it's been a long ride from my view.

We are going to say screw it and resubmit an offer for asking price. No more F'ing around. We offered 10k below last time and were mad at our selfs later.

PS - I was just about to offer you my place here in PA that has a new 1100sq ft Studio at about its completion stages. Anyway, its all but done, but my wifes dream house just totally burnt out from an arsonist (its an old 46 room Mansion that she has always wanted) and she wants to buy that now and fix it up) So, I'd sell this place real cheap (gotta keep her happy). AND this place even overlooks to the mountains from the balcony, its over 5000 sq ft, and not a river in the backyard like yours will have, but a 24X40 swimming pool. lol Did I mention I'd sell it real cheap??..lol (I want the Mansion for a studio now too) LOLOL Anyway,,,good luck with your bid.
