anyone wanna collab?

cool thanks man, but I'm sure he'd like to use both just to spice things up.

also, I have no flippin' idea how to get my songs up on the web. I've been trying to figure out how to setup an FTP on my PC so he can just download it.

yeah i don't care man i'll definitely use both. so VSpace you can't just email me the files like you did last time? i have a gmail address too if you want that.
 
Well before it was just a bassline. Now, it'll be one bassline and six guitar tracks. That many stacking up with sound like ass in MP3 so I'll need to send the WAVs. Each WAV is around 40mb's each and thats more than any email server will allow. Most have a max of 10mb. I'll have to make sure. If I can email them one by one I'll just do that.
 
i think gmail lets you send big files, you could give it a shot but it might take a while.

you don't need to host them and email is always too small. yahoo and gmail both allow up to 10Mb to be sent. but for .wav files you need something bigger. try yousendit.com you upload files up to 100mb and they'll host it for a week so your intended recipient can download them.

oh and yousendit has pay services but the basic 100mb upload/download is free.

OK i tracked the vox last night, gonna work on the mix tonight and probably post a new thread for the finished product. thanks for the good work everyone :D
hey bent, do you think you could host the MP3 of the final song? if not, i'll just put it up on Soundclick.

For hosting the MP3, just use that service here, box.net. It works fine for under 10mb. If not, I used that Mediafire for up to 100mb. Both services were very easy.
 
ok cool. maybe in a few hours i'll have something up for your listening pleasure, and Dogman if you want to contribute some vox let me know, i might have some work for you...check PMs.

holy shit, you can sing that. Sounds great to me. Sounds like you need more "ununnnn" parts at the end of the sound though.:D
 
haha well i didn't like how those ununnnnnn parts came out. i think i'm gonna either re-track em or make someone else do em. i tried it and then ran out of breath and said screw it.

If it was me I would loop it with a nice crossfade. (I'm sure thats what they did anyhow)

Thanks Dog.. yea, I just feel a little guilt though (I know you saids its cool:o) using up your resources if I don't have to.:confused:
