it's almost done Rokket. i posted the test mix up there in post #114. just gonna do a couple tweaks on the vox, maybe add some more layers to the verse vox. it's gonna be cool.

yeah Dogman, if you can try to do that part it would be cool. if not i'll just loop whatever i got haha.
i haven't had a chance to check out Dogman's vox yet, but i get home in about an hour so i'll give it a listen then.

Ok. I went and did another take, plus the Un's at the end...3 takes of those so you can pick and choose...plus I doubled the When I die part....just cuz...you may not want that. When my voice comes back, I'll try some even lower Un's....right now I sound like Lemmy on crack....

man everyone wants a piece! Dogman wants the vocal-less version. VSpace wants the instrument-less vocals. i gotta go right now but when i get home late tonight, i'll post up an instrumental for Dogman and send VSpace the dry vocal tracks.

crap, no i'm not. i'm really sorry guys i've just been ridiculously busy with work and crap, and haven't had much free time in the evenings lately. tonight i have o do some drum practice because i have an audition tomorrow, so hopefully late late tonight i can do everything. i'm sorry again, i'll get it done as soon as i possibly can.

if it sounds OK to you, i'm gonna put a new thread with this song in it so we can be proud of our work, hehe. i think i might bump the DogVox up a little more. i used this plugin in REAPER called the "ozzifier". what it does is creates 2 voices, time delays them, pans them hard L&R, and pitch shifts them. so i did like a 50ms delay, 20cent pitch shift, and put it 100% wet on the DogVox to add some depth to the verse vox. i just did it on the first part of each phrase ("is she ready to know..."). but yeah i think i might turn it up a bit more so everyone can enjoy it more. but now i must sleep!
that Ozzifier plugin is sweet though, it lets you control the # of voices, amount of time delay spacing, amount of pitch shift, wet/dry mix level, and voice panning. you can use it to subtly sweeten vocals, or really make em do some crazy shit.
