Hello to all my fellow music makers!
This is my first post, so I hope to make it a good one.
I have searched the internet and I have searched homerecording.com, but have come up empty handed. So, I am turning to this community to hopefully find some answers.
Here is what I have:
Alesis IO 26 Firewire
Adobe Audition 1.5
Windows Vista 64bit
2.1 Ghz Dual-core
4Gb Ram
recording 32-bit/96Khz
Here are my issues:
1. Quality automatically downgrades to 48Khz from 96Khz once I start recording. I can see this on the IO-26 software driver
This never occured when I was using my M-Audio Firewire Solo
2. I can not get the IO 26 to fully function with Audition 1.5
Maybe I am not looking in the right place, but I can only record left, right, or stereo. I should be able to record 8 seperate tracks, but Audition only seems to see it as 2 tracks available.
Any help on this would be GREATlY appreciated.
