Alesis (GT) AM-61

Are any of you familiar with this mic? I got a line on a pretty good deal ($400) in a local music rag, and I remember when they first came out they got pretty good reviews - but a lotta water under the bridge since then.

I have an AM52 which is the solid state multi pattern version. I like it. Lots of uses. I don't care for it on vocals (a little thin). The 61 is cardiod and tube so not much of a comparison I know.
