424 mkII user manual

hi there,

just purchased a second-hand tascam 424mkII for £100...seemed too good to miss

anyway, i've figured out how to use it basically, but there's still plenty i'd like to know

is there anywhere i could d/l the manual from?

alternatively, if i emailed tascam do you think they'd send me a copy?

You can go to www.tascam.com and search for portastudios.
Then you should be able to download the manual.
That's what I had to do for my MK III.

cheers for that...i'd tried searching the UK site for a manual before, but with no luck

now, i've found the manuals on the site you gave me and am about to download the one for the 424 MK3

that's as close as i can get to the MK2...i've heard it's a very similar unit anyway, so i'll make do with that
