38-8 heads on a TSR???

Hey.
Will Tascam 38-8 heads fit on a Tascam TSR-8? I know that the TSR only has 2 heads alltogether compared to the 3 of the 38-8. But could you still use 1of the rec/reproheads on the TSR?

As jp already mentioned, the rec / play is the exact same head, only difference is that the TSR-8 has only 1 [plus an erase head] and the 38 has 2 [plus an erase head]. They're the exact same part shared by many 8 track, 1/2" TASCAM models, including the TSR-8, 30, 40 and 50 series.
