I noticed on the box that the XP 1800+ came in that it says "Operates at 1533MHZ" In the Bios, it says Current CPU speed 1150MHZ, I want to change it, but I'm trying to be extra careful of things I'm not sure of.

No more noise! A friend was kind enough to give me a power supply, it works fine. When I have some down time, I'll tinker with the old one.
