7string,

I just sent you the drums mp3 file - 320 bitrate.

Propman,

They're acustic. A 70's Ludwig set I was lucky to come across. :D
7 mics through a USB interface, in 24 bits x 48KHZ.
I played them in some takes for the intro and 1 for the rest.

Cheers!

I'd like to do some vocal tracks for this song if that's cool with you guys.

I would like to do the breathe reprise vocals, but you can have the rest. It is way to high for me.

I just tracked some drums for Time.
It's a rough draft, played on a vintage 70's kit. I did't manage to get the same pich on the toms in the intro.
I followed a click, so maybe it can be used as a reference for future tracks. Metronome= 121 bpm, until bar 162, and then lowers to 117 bpm for the last part. I hope you enjoy the tracks.:D

Hey, killer tracks! Your drums sound great!

:) :) :)

Thanks a Lot! It was hard to work out the intro, and there are some errors, but it'll work as a base. With the vintage Ludwig, I tried out the approach described by Jeff Ocheltree, John Bonham's drum tech, everything tuned high and very little muffling, with the kick mic outside the front head, but using single-ply heads, not Emperors on toms and snare. Check this video:

I hope to hear your drums in "Money" soon!

As of yet I have not received the files. I PM'ed you. If email attach is a problem I can give you instructions on how to put them directly to the site.

Sorry 7String, I hadn't read the PM. I'll check what happened.

NightFlight, I checked the TimeDrums MP3 and there's only about 15 seconds of actual sound and the rest of the 6 plus minutes is silence. Could you check that out for me please?

Thanks!

7String,

The file begins with the "Tic-Tac" for 1 bar and then fades to silence before the first actual tom-hit. I included the tic-tac only as a reference to help sync with a metronome. After that, in the beginning of the song, there's a lot of silence between the tom hits . . .;)

I just let it play for 3 minutes and after that 1st bar there is nothing. I thought it was the entire drum track, am I mistaken?
