So yeah im looking to start an online band, and would first like to get a drummer on board of descent skill who had the means of recording his drum set in good quality. Basically just wanting to do cover stuff for fun. I can track all of the guitar and bass on my own so all i want is a drummer...

Wheres the need to do so?...i do artificial multitracking in which i double both guitar tracks and pan them hard left and right (two guitar players)...can't you achieve the right tone with just ONE track...i've been getting descent to good results with one track...so yeah shed some light on why...

I have been told to always mix my songs in mono then move them into stereo to truely get the most out of my recordings...but when i mix music in mono things tend to clash horrible...the guitars sound muddled and it's just horrible...what should i be doing?
