So every time i plug into my flextone i am reminded about how great it sounds. That is until i turn it up past 4 and my speaker farts out and gives me this strange low pitched whining sound. (Not feedback) I have no idea what the problem is because i was told that it was my speaker, but i just popped in a new Eminence The Wizard and i still get the same issue. Anyone have any idea what it could be? Someone suggested i was overloading my preamp, but my pickups are passive and aren't extremely high output, and i have no pedals in front of the amp either beefing up the signal. Please help me out if you can because this is a major inconvenience at band practices as a lead guitarist when i don't cut through.
