i can't seem to find what the difference is.... also I'm looking into getting one of those (depending on the differences)... seems like a perfect answer for live recording, and later editing in the DAW... is there also some kinda controller for it, for punches and studio type recording?

Okay, here is the latest collab that I did...it involves 7 different guitar players from all over the world.....all done via online.... there are no vox, and it's to a BT.... I'd appreciate some feedback on the levels/eq/effects....and how it all gels together.... it was a bit of a challenge...

The tracks I had to work with were pretty bad, but I think I've gotten it sounding pretty good and 'natural'. It sounds pretty good here on my PC and in my car but those are the only 2 points of reference I have at the moment. It was recorded live w/ a total of 8 tracks... 4 drum, 2 guit, 1...

Can anyone tell me what is involved to convert audio recorded using a Mac and Protools to a Win XP Cubase SX 2.0. Will protools record .wav? and can we just do it that way??? sorry for my ignorance. :confused:

I am trying to set up an online collaboration for some songs. My question is: Does it matter if the parties involved are using different equiptment and software to record their tracks??? I was told that there will be problems with sync'ing everything up. I didn't think this would be an issue...

What is considered the best for software mastering? I am new at this...I have T-Racks but my buddy has Waves...Is one far superior to the other? What others are recommended?

Hey, ya'll... I have a link to a recording we did. It is our first attempt to record on our own, using a PC. I had a fairly tough time with the drums and getting them to sound half way decent. I think I have them as good as i could get them. Everything else is done with pure Boss GT6 and GT6B...
