Is this for real? Sometimes I miss sarcasm on the internet.

I've used ProTools on PC and Reaper on Mac, and various other combinations over the years, and this is definitely not true. They both take in whatever they are given...if this is for real, it may be the worst piece of information I've ever seen on this forum...if it's sarcasm, I guess it went over my head.

It is absolutely real.

Nope, not a joke, he was for real.

Any evidence of this? I mean if I use Reaper on a PC and on a Mac, the Mac will have a hyped high end, and the PC will have scooped mids??? What accounts for this different EQ on different systems? Instead of outboard EQs, I'm just going to get a PC, a Mac, Reaper, Protools, Cubase, and anything else I can find and run my stuff through all of them until the EQ is right!!!

This is all BS for those who may not "get the joke".

I miss the good ol' days when manning1 would use any thread to plug Protracks!:D

I didn't think different DAW's SOUNDED different. I thought they were just hosting programs with different features and work-flows. Does one really sound different than the other?

could that be more down to the file format that the daw works on rather than the h/w in the pc/mac or operating system.

aiff and wav

You like that one. :)

It's probably the closest I'll ever get to you covering one of my tunes. :D

Lol. I do like it. It was hilarious to me when you unleashed those 3 little words. :laughings:

I've been kicking around the idea of covering "Not To Love You" for a long time now. I really like that song. I know it's kind of bubble-gummy, but I think it's my favorite of yours. Real catchy.
