I got a message at NWR saying "Im a bandwidth theif and this image was stolen from nowhere radio" My image is gone? Man this is kinda strange. I have an account at IUMA. Its not bad until ya need customer service. Then it can suck, but they finally get around to you. Waldo has always had prompt customer service.

Sam & co, I'm helping Waldo with something right now that would make these server problems go away. Not many details yet; but it's along the lines of SLuiCe's comments... but much simpler.

how about another comp CD like the one going on.. ? I'd be glad to head it up...and I have more ideas if people are interested. I have done these before on another website too, but it really isn't all that hard or time consuming to do.

At $15-20 per CD...and if we do one CD with 15-20 songs... that is at least a couple hundred bucks that could be sent towards Waldo. I mean...really without Nowhere....this clinic will shut down in my opinion.

I think we can whip these CDs off every other month or so, and possibly have themes...whatever.

any interest along these lines?

I also don't understand why there are only 30 pay users at this point.. Admittedly, I sent $$ not too long ago and rode the 'free ride' and only posted 3 songs. But wouldn't an all pay place (if even 5 bucks) work out? Generate a couple hundred paying people...or am I way off base?

b.sabbath-samicide-samij the names do not exist.. Could you reset my username and password? maybe make my password the same as the other one? except instead of the rediculous 'samij' name, samicide instead..

I couldn't think of a name at the time, and a friend came over to my house and asked, "got any doobage samage?"

That meant he was asking me if I had any weed..

after we smoked the place out, I thought, samij sounds like doobage..

I should have spelled it samage because 'samij' looks and sounds like a middle eastern name or something.. :(

I don't even have any tunes to post (yet), and I am more than willing to buy up one of those payslots (once I get paid).

It's all about supporting your independant music scene (well along with those who aren't so independant).

Instead of your next McD's meal...fork out the 5 bucks to help support something everyone obviously appreciates.

(BTW not tryna start any shitstorms for those who are already paying, and those who will be :D, as well as those who simply cannot afford it)

Because people don't pay when they don't have to. C'mon guys, Waldo's rates are a bargain.
I know that some people gotta watch every penny, and sure there's other good causes...but next time you're heading down to Guitar Center, think about how it only costs $27.50 a year for unlimited space on nowhere.

Your nowhereradio artist log in name is not connected with the forums at all.
You have to create a "new" username to post in the forums over there.When you sign up for the forums you can probably use one of your existing usernames.
 
I tried..

I registered a long time ago and would have used either of those names.. I think 'samij' but I don't remeber that password.. when I click on 'forgot password,' it asks for my email address.. when I put in my email address, it says that name is already in use..

Waldo might have to reset the situation..

.........I would certainly buy a comp CD every 3 months or so if that were to happen. It would just save me the time of doing what I already do anyway...... ...If youre into taking something like that on, I think its a great idea.

If the link you are visiting is on NoWhereRadio, then the only explanation would be if you are using 'paranoia' software on your machine to 'fake' environment variables from being passed to the server.

This'll trigger the protection mechanisms on NWR, and you'll get that message!

There was a little out-freakage over the possibilty that Nowhere might shut down permanently........ no worries, all is fine

Two people? TWO PEOPLE? That is so pathetic I don't have the words to despise it adequately. Alright, here are the words - ante up, or I'm going to start embarrassing people. *Loads* of people use Nowhere, and it's a real sincere pumpkin patch. *Loads* of people should be supporting it. Get real. Don't suck.
 
I think I read somewhere Waldo had collected 85 USD so far...if everyone who uses NWR pitched in say...1$...how many users are there?...

(again not to create a shitstorm or anything :) )
