Here is TruePiano's free version. No adjustments, but sounds pretty good for free.

Their other purchased pianos do sound better, but you'll find plenty of people to advise to buy something else.
If you buy the current version of Sonar Producer edition, you'll get the TruePiano VSTi free. Might be worth looking at, but a chunk of money... But Sonar has A LOT of other free stuff too. Dimension Pro has some nice pianos too... comes with Sonar also.

Otherwise you're looking at $200+ for a program.

btw... Click on the "A small and versatile piano module"... under the picture.

EDIT...oops...reading above... I see you switched to Reaper... oh well!!

The link works but it wont let me download the plugin. Any more options? Anyone else know of a good Piano VST plugin? Dont have to be free, I just need a good one. Thanks.

Beautiful song! Im new to this myself so Im not qualified to say much about the mix, but I love the song. Im a Pastor myself, and it is good to see another Christian posting here. This is the first time Ive logged on in a few months, (just been real busy), but keep up the good work!

btw, the one "selling" point of these 4front pianos is they don't hit the CPU hard at all, making them good for live use.

They are nothing like Native Instruments, etc.

They have the free non-adjustable version x86,14mb file for PC and the TruePianos is the one you pay for. It is actually pretty good, imo... at least in this guitar players opinion.

Whoa, Im not in front of my moniters just listening thru some headphones and this things sounds like a jem!

When listening to musik...I never really care to notice flaws as long as it sounds good...and your stuff sounds real good!

Im also a christian artist...actually rapper but I love all kinds of christian musik.

Please keep doing this...!

+1 for truepianos....great sounding and very low CPU...pity you dumped Cakewalk as the new Sonar comes with a free one....

also soundmagic supreme piano is only a few hundred mb in size if thats a restriction and also sounds pretty good...

cant comment on the song...no live streaming here and im a satanist anyway ;) lol

I appreciate the warning as I'm not a fan of the genre BUT am pleased to be forewarned - pleased enough to listen because you cared enough to give me the option.
More acoustic guitar would balance the piano.
A better piano sample would be helpful as it does stand naked on occason & the nuances are noticable.
melody & harmony wise this reminds me of Wille (not Wig) Nelson.
Nice work - there're a few thinsg that can develop this more but the basics, structure, harmonies, arrangement etc are pretty good.

Thanks Mixteco! That gives me a little motivation to do more and better stuff. Im just starting out so thanks again for the boost!

I got tired of my piano sound and got Native Instruments Akoustik Piano. I agree that it is a CPU hog. Always takes way longer than anything else to load as well, which is a pain in the arse. That said, it sounds pretty good and is very tweakable with pan, width, reverb, EQ, distance, pedal settings. even lets you choose three different positions of the piano lid. I need something for mixes with lots of tracks when CPU is stressed. I think I'll try out the truepiano freebee as well.

Nice song and performance. Agree that tuning the vocals will really help it shine.

Thanks bro... I have downloaded the truepiano and its really good. They let you use it for a 40 day trial period. Let me know what you think if you give it a try.

where you able to get the freebie? It has no adjustments, but I think it sounds good, if that "setting" works for you. Certainly as good as my hardware Roland and Triton pianos for sure.

Im going to try the freebie in a bit. I will get back with you. Hey I left you a PM a couple days ago.

yeah..I saw it.. thanks for the compliments, and I thought I'd just post back here about a VSTi pno, so others might benefit too.

Well I tried the freebie but its not so good. The quality for me was a tad distorted. I like the tone of the piano and it would be good if it didnt sound distorted. Anyone else tried it?

well.... I have... but it certainly wasn't distorted. hmmm.

I'll try and post a clip at some point...

This is totally unlistenable ... because I've not heard it yet. Have I heard it yet?

Sounded pretty good bro, I think it's cool what you're doing. I agree about maybe adding in a female harmony... a lot of people may not realize it but most of the recordings I've posted if not all of them are Christian artists... nobody has ever given me a hard time about it, but who knows. I mostly use my studio to serve my church, there are a lot of talented people there, you might like the song I recently posted by my sister. I think it has a lot of depth and meaning to it that you could relate to.

This isn't really my style necessarily... but I do think you did a good job at what you were trying to do. I would also have to agree with the one guy who mentioned the guitar panned to the right, yeah... maybe just bring it a bit to the center but as I've said on here before I'm kind of a mono-mixer... something I'm currently wrestling with in my mixes I guess? :-p Anyway, God bless brother!

Thanks bro..I actually have panned the guitar back to the middle in my latest version which is the one you heard. In my first mix I had the guitar panned to the right. Anyway, thanks for listening and for your comments. I will go see if I can dig up some of your stuff and take a listen.

Dude...
Not just because I'm a Christian too but...this is very nice. ;)

Well played, sung (lead and harmony) and the mix sounds good too.
Props dude. :)
