Tight RCA Cables

no, no... not those slutty cables that quack like a duck...

In order for me to get from my 22-2 into my ad converter, I have to use RCA to 1/4" cables... no probs there...

However, in my quest for a better cable, I purchased a pair of yorkvilles... the RCA end fits tight on the 22-2... I have to apply a certain amount of pressure to fit them on snugg... I don't like doing this because I fear that I will F-up the machine...

any suggestions on a quality cable that fits better?
 
I had some problem with some Radio shack Rca,s also being way to tight.
They had the pretty gold ends on them.
I just get Hosa cables now and they seem to do a good job and always fit well.
 
I have some tight ones as well, the cylinder surrounding the contact pin is solid with only a slight interruption, like this one:

I find the loose ones look more like the male ends of this picture:

Notice the gaps.
 
unless you dont need to repatch the thing all the time go with the tight connector... and iff you do need to repatch the thing they aren't going to be tight very long... and you can always bend those flanges...
