I think you're over-reacting. You're in the right place, and how it is is how you make it. There's precious little moderation, so you decide how to be.

Bazz - I think most young Brits have a pretty dim view of America ... however, I found early on that to dislike America's identity on a large scale does not fit with meeting perfectly decent Americans on a personal basis online. They might be clueless about the rest of the world ... but other than that, most of them are just the same as you or me (just with a few more cowboy hats and handguns per square mile).

I'll be honest. I've been visiting America every year since I was born for a month. I am dating an American girl, and on the whole I love your Country. HOWEVER. The pure arrogance of online Americans is preposterous. The next time I get a 15 year old American trying to tell me that they saved our ass in the war I'll go crazy. You lot get a bad reputation over here purely based on the ridiculousness of most of your mass media and hype, your current President (Who I don't actually mind) and your kids learning how to use chat rooms. Anti-Americanism is now viewed as an acceptable form of racism. One view I disagree with. I hope I actually replied to the issue you raised. I rant at times.

while im here i should say that not being able to play a fretless bass seems like a lame excuse for crappy bass on your tune. nobody is forcing anyone to record with a fretless bass are they?

and whats with all the excuses about your tunes not being mixed? shouldnt people at least make a lame attempt at mixing before posting in a mixing clinic???? or do you want people to tell you how to do it step by step? how would that work? here is my poo please tell me how to scoop it? i cant wipe my butt maybe somebody can come over and do it for me?

This is the internet. People can say things with a bit less shame or guilt, considering they can't actually see the effect of whatever they've said to the person on the other side. Just don't take everything so seriously.

If you're going to drag the entire country of America into it.. then "piss off". Sure, there are a lot of shitheads here.. but there's no need to bring it up when it is completely irrelevant to the conversation.

Try re-reading every post, I've told him I want it in private and not over the forums, also I can live with shitty reviews, but not what I call a personal insult, especially after insult back and he cries. I think before commenting on a situation you should have all the facts, which you obviously don't.

As for the Anti-Americanism which doesn't exist, you'll find someone was slagging of English people first. Again, I will retaliate. My missus is American as I stated, I visit the Country every year, and I'm going another 2 times this year.

The bass line was fine and in time, it just didn't sound the nicest ever. And lack of money is forcing me to play a Fretless bass. I don't have £200 to buy an instrument I hardly ever play, so I used my bassists.

I did. Re-read what I put, I mentioned I'd put compression and reverb on it, and panned it a little. You see the idea then is to get feedback from different people on what the sound is like and adjust it.

So from my post you could glean that the bass frequencies were out of control and that my ears thinking your bass was intonated wrong were hearing some misfretted notes and furthermore that the vox had a pitch issue or two and that a certain member named ME didn't like your song or lyrics very much.

Right let's be honest now, if you'd put it like that, do you think I'd have responded how I did? No. You put it like an asshole and I gave it you back. And you didn't like it. This is how you phrased it.

The rhythm played the same chord pattern throughout verse and chorus, and the second guitar strummed single chords in the verses and picked arpeggios in the big held note section. The solo was improvised and is pretty crap.
