do you know where the Louisiana Sheriff went to?Lol. He sucks!
I remember your Amos Moses. I fucking loved it. I've always loved that song, going way back to when I was a little Amos Moses myself growing up in southern Louisiana.
do you know where the Louisiana Sheriff went to?
oh lordy lordy ..... procrastination is a bitch that's gonna bite me someday.
Just got word Floyd Miles is coming in to do a set so I have to add a set of bass to the list to know for tomorrow night and I have a gig tonight so now I'm under the gun.
Wheeeeee!
Maybe I shouldn't be here huh?

HA! That's awesome. I didn't listen to mine, but I'm listening to yours.Haha I love it.
I just dug through my old harddrive. Do you remember giving me the tracks to mix too? Here's my mix.
Greg's mix of Rami's cover of Jerry Reed's Amos Moses
HA! That's awesome. I didn't listen to mine, but I'm listening to yours.
I just realized you added a cowbell, a vibraslap and maybe some guitars??? I love it.
I don't think I added any guitars. I did add the cowbell and forgot about the vibraslap until I just listened to it.
I can't get myself to listen to my mix. But I was surprised at how good Greg's sounded, so I'm not surprised it sounds better than my mix. I might keep a few tracks, like the bass and maybe the main guitar, and re-record this one, too. I know I can do it better now.greg's mix is better but RAMI's performance/recording is awesome!
Gotta work this song up!
I think maybe you were sipping on some moonshine and gnawing on frog legs when you did it.![]()
I can guarantee you that at that time I was drinking tequila and smoking pot by the garbage bag full. I haven't even had a sip of alcohol in about 3 years and I don't smoke any more. I've actually had a bottle of vodka sitting about 5 feet away from me for the last 2 years. It's in a bag and being used as a counter-weight on a mic stand.
I'm always tempted to have a few shots, and then I say "Nah....".
