I'm not a big wah guy though, so don't take my opinions too seriously on that. My use of a wah is more for an over-the-top effect as opposed to making notes sing or anything like that.
I have a Dunlop Crybaby 535Q sitting here on my pedalboard, and to me, it's a fantastic wah. It's got adjustable sweep ranges, an optional boost, and some other shit that I've never even messed with. Lol. It can go from deep and fat to kill you screechy and everything in between. I just have it set in the middle somewhere and rarely actually use it for anything.
Here's a cover song I did using the 535Q. The solo at the end is mild wah retardedness. The guitar and amp is the Les Paul and the JMP.
