Nebody using one of these? Just doing some research on different things and want to get questions answered first.

So this acts as an hands on mixing board correct? Also with this I would still need an audio interface or will this work as an audio interface?

Let me know you all thoughts on it. Im thinking of goin software now and i wanted to get an control surface for on hand mixing.

What you are asking about is a control surface only. It does not have a built in audio interface. It's just a nice way to control faders, knobs, transport buttons, etc in your DAW with real hardware contols instead of having to use a mouse.
 
I have one of them. It's just a controller for you DAW software tho. Nothing plugs into it apart from the USB connection and power. You would still need an audio interface etc.

But it is completely awesome. I can't really get used to working without it now. Most notably because of the jog wheel. On the rare occasions I don't have the thing plugged in, I keep reaching for the jog wheel...

Especially when I'm making music...

There seem to be more than enough knobs to do what you need, the motorized faders kick ass, and it looks cool too :) Massive improvement over a mouse.

I got one... Things you should know...

There nice when they are working a bitch when they are not.

Tascam support might as well be nonexistent.

They discontinued them.
 
I know a place thats selling them plus ima keep an eye on ebay. So hopefully something comes up.
