Tascam 388 - Tape Types

Hey everyone, this is my first post. I recently bought a Tascam 388 and I've been looking for the right kind of tape for it. I can't find any of the recommended types (Quantegy 456-457), but I've come along ATR Magnetic Tapes. They have 1/4" which is what I need for the 388, correct? If anyone has tried ATR tape, I'd be interested to know what it's like and how it compares to the recommended tapes.

+1 to nate_dennis' post. Read that thread and it'll tell you you want RMGI LPR35 and why...Use whatever you want, but LPR35 is readily available and what your 388 was designed around...1mil +6 tape.
