Hi guys, my 32 has had an issue with the left channel output in repro (also the left meter does not move), in sync everything works fine. The issue has been intermittent over the past few months but would not work at all today during a recording session.
Ethan had a similar problem with his 32 found in this thread:
https://homerecording.com/bbs/general-discussions/analog-only/tascam-32-fix-found-164168/
According to him the issue was with 'the sync (or in my case repro) connectors on the motherboard'. He said he moved them around a bit and the signal would cut in and out so he just resoldered it and problem solved.
I opened up my machine to do this but I don't know which connectors are for the repro signal (there are dozens) without schematics. Hoping that someone can either take a look for me and just let me know the part number for it and I can then find it myself (there are numbers next to all the connectors) or scan in the relevant section of the schematics.
Thanks guys,
Also, if it helps, I could take a photo of the motherboard and maybe someone can identify it from that?
