I cant find anything bad about these mics. They are sooooo cheap. People comparing them to neumann's costing 25 times the price? Whats going on. Im specifically talking about the CM-H8A(B or C)

I have a couple I got off eBay used for $30 each, but haven't tried them on anything yet.
There is a Jazz demo at http://www.superlux.us/demo.html that has me thinking they're not too bad. I'm going to have to try them soon. I doubt that they are Neumann quality or they'd be talked about more.

I do use the PRA-218b as my main mic for kick when recording.

I bought one once...it had a rattle if it shook...which is a shame because they assemble them here in the KC area...

i have a pair of the small diaphrams. they do really well on upright piano and acoustic guitar.
