No, what I see in the thread that Han referenced was that many people think that the B5 and C4 look similar, and that both are manufactured by 797 Audio. That certainly doesn't define competitive products. I also saw you questioning Harvey's credibilty when he stated that the two mics have significant differences, perticularly in the capsules...but nothing about how the two are competing.
Richie's post basically says that the fact that the two look similar doesn't mean squat without a breakdown of the two units to the point of destroying a couple of each to see what makes them tick.

That takes me back to my Cavalier/Corvette analogy. If they're not in the same price range, I contend they're NOT competitors.
