In order to see any level on the LED's, you need to push in (so it stays down) the 2trk-to-CTRL-Room button. Speak into the mic and slowly turn up the gain on the mic pre-amp labeled GAIN. Once you start to see the LEDS move, check the levels on your computer to make sure that it hears what the mic and the mixer are putting out.

Just tryed it out, still nothing on the bargraph/Led Display, its like some is dead, its like something just isn't right.... you know

damn its weird how the simplest thing can be complicated, grrrrr ... whats goin on here

try it again and unclick the 2tk-to-ctrl-room so that the button is sticking out.

nope, still not working, DAMN, why is this happening?
i just can't understand whats going on here....

Without actually sitting down and messing with the mixer, I don't know what to tell ya. I'll try and look up possible solutions tonight but I really can't promise anything. Sorry I couldn't help.

You helped allot i really really appreciate the time you spent to help me even though we didn't get very far.. but i think i know what the problem is....

I got a XLR to 1/4" Mono and i put the 1/4" Mono end into a Male 1/4" to XLR Adapter, do you think this would not work? or it doesn't matter? if it doesn't matter then i have no clue whats going on, :(

Also say i took my RCA cables off and tried the mixer to see if i got any indication on the bargraph... can you do that? cause if i did and it worked, then that would mean there is something up with my RCA ... Tapeout to AUX IN 2 connection, right? if it didn't work then that would mean there is something wrong with my mic to my mixer right? you think thats worth trying out?

Revone, You need to slow down and actually read peoples replies. Evildick plainly stated that you must have a XLR- XLR cable. Putting adapters in the middle is not the same thing.

Get an XLR cable to eliminate that as a possible reason for the problem and if you still have problems then continue from there.

Yeah ok, but its kinda hard when i just spent 100$ ON CABLES!11 lol

ok ill go spend another 30$ or so on a XLR to XLR cable and waist more money, then open it and find out it doesn't work.

Yeah ok'

peace.

Get the XLR cable!!!

You have my personal guarantee that this will solve your problem!

If it doesn't, I will say I'm very sorry!

But it will! So get it!

Just in case he missed Lame Thrower's post -
YOU NEED AN XLR-XLR CABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Phantom Power won't work if you have any 1/4" adapters in there. Good luck!

PS - all the "Real" mics I've purchased did not come with a cable, where did you buy this stuff? The dude at the store should have helped you out, or did you buy it online? If you don't know what you're buying/how to hook it up, buying from a local store is good!

If it does, then that is your problem.

You know, if the cord doesn't work (which it will), you can always take it back.

You're welcome.

Yeah that wasn't my adapter, it was a 1/4" In to XLR out, so say i had a 1/4" i'd put it in to the adapter to make it XLR, and guess what

MY SHIT IS WORKING BABY!! YAY

lol

thanks for the help everyone, i really appreciate it, i knew there was something up with that dumb mic cord i bought.. got my XLR to XLR now and its working great.

thanks for the help everyone
