So i am the new owner of the Vsynth and have a really irritating problem I cant seem to get my head around. Hopefully someone here can offer me a simple explanation to achieve what i am trying to do. This was posted in the v-tribe forums and the guys there did reply to it but unfortunately I must be really dumb because I still don`t get it

I am trying to allocate 2 different patches to the zones on a split keyboard , I did initially want to have zone1 with an arp patch and the upper zone to play a meoldy patch but unfortunately it seems the arp cannot be assigned to zones , only the whole keyboard .

So for the time being I would just be happy with being able to play 2 different sounds at the same time, this is where get a stupidity leak .... ;)

So here i am trying to make sense of this vague and horribly inneffective manual .

I am at stage 7 on page 53 of the manual, (touch<ok>.

the next stage (stage 8) is where the manual becomes completely ambiguous (in this state zone 01 is selected , specify the sound that you want to play in zone01) .

So whats the big secret here ? I select the patch (#104 arp star ) for the bottom half of the keyboard (now zone1).

Next stage (9) after you have specified the sound that you want to play in zone01, next specify the sound for zone02. Peform steps 2 and 3 once again to access the patch zone window. - Now problem here is I grab the second patch i want in zone 2 , hit the zone section and this patch changes the first patch and the keyboard split has dissapeared. Also the so called zone 2 patch is playing in zone 1 only . WTF ?

someone throw me a bone

Regards

Paul
