can anyone explain in laymans terms how to utilize the analizer in the channel eq, i can add nodes and view the specrum but cant figure out how to use it to adjust the eq?

any help is greatly appreciated

Drag each node up to boost the frequency in question, or drag down to cut the node.

High frequencies / treble occur towards the right end of the red line, and bass to the left.

Vocals are usually mostly in the region 500Hz-4kHz
