Here is a tune I'm working on. I'd say at the 90ish percent.

I am really interested in how the bass sits. I'm try to take the bass, sent to two channels. EQ one channel to 150 and the other 130 up, then treat each with different compressors. I know many here have done this, but this is my first time trying it. I am trying to get low end, but maintain definition of the bass.

Vocals just have EQ, reverb and delay. Guitars are nothing special. It is a pretty simple recording. Drums are SD2 with straight out of the box grooves.

At about the 2.08 mark, the vocal sort of subsides into incomprehensible. A bit more automation, maybe?

Nice tune. Nothing jumps out at me except what I mentioned. I think it's more than 90% along.

Re: the bass. I didn't notice it unless I decided to pay attention. I think it's just about right. I'd turn it up a dB and try more distortion on it, but that's just me. It's ballpark, I reckon.
