Hi,

I hope this isn't a totally stupid question.
I can no longer play the guitar for various reasons, but was wondering if there was some software where i could drag and drop selected chords in to a timeline which can then be played back, purely to help with writing music pieces. (I find you can think certain things work, but when you go to play them, it doesn't quite sound so good).

I really have very little idea about music software, so i realise this may be a somewhat simple question.

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks

Hi guys,
just wanted to say thanks for the help. They both look great. I'm going to really investigate both further, but they both look exactly what i'm after!
thank you!!

I hope my input is not too late. I realize the last post on this thread was a week ago. I would recommend trying out RealGuitar by MusicLab. I used it in a song once. It has a 12 String Acoustic Preset that sounds beautiful. The site also has another VSTi called RealStrat. It's a little pricey but well worth the investment in my opinion.
