Not as far as I'm concerned. This is a neat concept. Is it too late to add a version? If so I'll catch the next one.
But have you filled out the written application?

Man, there is like 4 of these things, and you can lay tracks down to all of them. Make sure and let us know if you do, as I want to hear what happens.VSpaceBoy said:This is a neat concept. Is it too late to add a version? If so I'll catch the next one.
All we need now is a mandolin solo!!!
Well, Timmy Boy, I reckon you're smart enough to make a giant MP3...Timothy Lawler said:David said:
I agree.
I'd also be interested in hearing all the versions chained together to sound like a theme and variations. I'm serious. That's how I listen to them, I'm just missing the rhythmic connections between the sections.

This'd be an interesting compilation CD, all these rumbles.Timothy Lawler said:Back up boys..... apl's on the sauce again.
(sorry apl...)
Actually what I'd most like to have is a CD made from everybody's original wav files, edited together, leveled a bit one to another, with fold-out liner notes of the text of the Rumble threads. I'd pay $20 for my copy.

Wow, that is very cool! Kinda Sweet-Child-of-Mine-esque. Love the different tones you used. I'll swipe that first repeating phrase for sure.VSpaceBoy said:Allright guys here what I came up with.

7string said:Maybe do a CD of each rumble? I know another board that I visit once in awhile occassionally solicits original songs from everybody and they put together a "CD" of each song and make it available for download including a CD cover designed by a volunteer. The songs are then 'mastered' (haha) by the person that solicits them before placing them online. They don't sell it but they do ask for reviews by everyone who downloads and it is VERY popular. Oh yeah, the person that solicits the songs gets to determine WHICH songs go on the CD. Maybe some variation of this would work?

Hey, Dogman, I've got 14 Rumble III entries on my thumb drive. Let me know if you can't get a particular one, and I'll e-mail it to ya.Dogman said:shiatzu, can't get your link to work. Do you have this anywhere that I can get it?

Thanks for the comments!Dogman said:Ok, Spaceboy, that is good sounding. Nice tone, Really fits well, while contrasting enough to make it stick out a bit. The part at about :48, fit very cool. Followed the rythum well. Actually, the whole thing fit well. Nicely done.

I'm not sure if the tumbling-off-the-edge chromatic figure is a good or bad thing. As I said I don't know scales, I was wingin' it. (But I'm sure that was obvious)Timbo said:Good one VSpaceBoy. The passage :32 to :40 really got me with the setup to the tumbling-off-the-edge chromatic figure right at :38. Rumble on. I had to turn away from the computer screen though because Chris Farley's Chippendale dancing in your sig line was out of rhythm with the song. Can you adjust that please?
