With the intention of punishing myself, I will be soldering. Endlessly!
I feel your pain (literally). These are some of the TTL's I've done at work. These aren't wired for audio, these are all T-1 lines.

It's hard to tell from these pix but the oak trim turned out real nice.

Really, really, REALLY nice Track Rat.

Hey, I got a question - you guys that are in the midst of recreating the recording world inside your garages and basements - what do you do for recording for the one-year-plus that you're doing woodwork and electrics? Tascam in the bedroom?

Actually, two ADAT LX20's and a Mackie 1604VLZ in a road rack. A good friend of mine opperates his business out of an old steel factory and I track in what was the cafeteria (50'x100'). I should be operational here in about a week.

An old cafeteria? Lino floors and lotsa windows? What's the sound like in there?

Like a cave.:D Drums actually sound very cool. There are several offices (about 10'x12') that are directly off of the big room that I've used for isolation.

Looks GREAT TR!!!!

Wouldn't you know it. My sister used to live in Alton, IL so I was up there once or twice a year and I would have loved to have buzzed across the river to check out your place. But, they got transferred to Lake of the Ozarks so now no more trips to the St. Louis area. You've really done a fine job though...

I thank you sir. And of course you'd be more than welcome.

Ok Track,

Send me the board back along with the custom furniture. Oh yeah I'll take some of those racks also

Ahhh. My benifactor!:D Wassup Jeremy? I'm just about done. Just vacuuming the hell out of the studio right now and then I'll take some fresh pictures. I'm about a week away from opening back up. Now three bands standing by.

Last update. I now am at the point where everything is functional. Still some busy work but all the major systems function as designed. And it did take about a month to complete. It's Miller time (er........make that a Guiness).

Very cool, Track! Now maybe you'll have some time to come up here and give ME a hand? :-)

Are we gonna see some pics of the finished product?

Congrats!

My camera ain't worth a shit. Here's my humble abode.
This is a shot form the door between the two rooms.
