OK I'm ready to do some judging but we still need all the mixes.

I hope Bryan is ok ?

Well folks... obviously, we're not going to have the judging completed by today. I'm still trying to get nessbass's mix and with that exception, I have everyone elses scores completed.

If Giles doesn't come through today with putting all the mixes onto a place where Raw-Tracks and Vestast can DL them, I will put them onto my space tonight and we should be able to complete this in the next day or two.

Thanks Cary cuz I got my server woprking now I cant figure out why the router is not directing the URL's to the server. I give up. Arrghhhh!!. I make music not support webservers. LOL

There were a few mixes that were emailed to me. Hit me up so I can get them to you.

Amen brother! Kurt Cobain was the "Typhoid Mary" of the music world. I believe this happend because guitar players had gotten so good [like Steve Vai] and productions became more costly. So the greedy record companies all decided to wipe the slate clean and find untalented musicians that they could exploit and produce for very little money. Then by only playing the crap music on the radio people were soon brainwashed and conditioned to the poorly produced music. The young musicians using this music for a reference soon evolved the productions into the strerile, flat, lifeless sound of modern music.

Judges, can you Take the Lemontree entry out of the judging please. I got the mono files to start with which I roughly mixed into the file I posted. Then tried to download the stereo ones from a seperate file batch which were at 48Khz and not 44.1 so I never did finish the mix cause I had some real recording going on here.

Sorry if I wasted anybody's time.....infact, if it's already been judged I wouldn't mind seeing how it faired against the mixes with the stereo wavs

No waste, IMO

I knew where you were at with the whole thing from reading the thread.

Did you listen to any of the other mixes? Ask yourself; where do YOU think you should end up. :) It is critical to develop good perception. Just my opinion.
 
OK, it looks like Caryindy has all of the mixes that were submitted. He is going to upload them to my server tonight. Once he has them uploaded, I will post a link so everyone can download the mixes.

Judges, when do you think we should have the judging completed? At this point, if all goes smoothly, I am thinking Friday.

Friday would be good for me if no one has any objections. I was prepared to work into the wee hours tonight but If I could avoid that it would be great. Just getting over an illness this week and I have to at least make an attempt to be at work tomorrow. ;)

I will have my overall vision statement done by Fridya as well :)

There's only 12 entries this time? I would think there'd be more each time!
 
His was an Email Mix. Trigger is his Board Name :)

Ok. NL5 is the only mix I cant get access to. :)

Interesting. I can get it here right now.
I'll keep checking your server. If you dont have it in an hour, I'll be home and I'll email it to you or something.
 
Yeah email it to me right quick. I have not been able to talk to his server since I tried an FTP with him. His server may have blocked my IP address.
