My computer is home all alone, downloading the large file. I'm at work, so I can't disconnect it. If there is any way that Giles can disconnect me, I would be fine with that.
 
OK, if everyone but Geet and I stay off Giles' server, we can have this up on three servers in a few hours, yoiu will actually be able to have it sooner by waiting a couple hours.

hey, it ain't workin, it's gonna take a LONG time, everybody's back to downloading.
 
Well Check your PM anyway, I took down the other folder to allow you exclusive use of my limited bandwith. There is the main archive file and the smaller individual files. Let me know as soon as you are complete with the download so i cna put the other folder back up as a backup D/L site
 
I apologize to all. We attempted to have NL hosting this last night but I was unable to get it up on his site and still keep my deadline of having the files up by midnight. Because of this inconvenience I am adding 24 hours to all the proposed contest ending dates. Thank you for your patience.
 
ok - I got the pm and am D/L the file now - looks like about 2 1/2 hours. Then you cabn put yours back up, and mine will be up by this evening (my upload is only 256). Maybe geet can put up a mirror as well....

Cool I'll check back around 3pm or so.

Guess I should look at the T3 line afterall. ....NOT!!! They want to charge me 500/month. LOL No Way.

You could rent an entire dedicated server for a whole lot less than that....
 
Yeah I know NL, but it wouldnt be right next to me in my upstairs office. :)

Kind of a jazzy flavor. (the original foundation was a pop tune, we altered the flavor a bit.) There is only one live instrument. The Bass. A Ken Smith 5 string. Maple Neck.

Everything else is XV-5050 and Ensoniq TS-10.

So I guess you could Pop/Jazz

Here is a crazy idea. What if everyone entering this contest was required to judge all of the entries but their own ? This would give a much broader range of opinions from people with everthing from high end monitors to cheap computer speakers. I believe the results would be very interesting.
 
I think that's a good idea... but may be difficult for those of us with Dial-Up.
 
OK - file is uploading to my server. Should be up around 5pm Pacific.

Geet - email me at blowfish@attbi.com if you want to mirror as well. I can give you the link a few minutes early, and then it will be up on three servers so everyone can download fairly fast.
