Since i wrote this tune in its entirety, im able post the follwing message

......

No "contest" this time folks.
Just pure editing, swapping of parts, pitch shifting, re-producing, re-mixing.
blah, blah, mother f%#in blah.

Tear this one apart!
Or dont, its certainly mixable on its own.
You decide, because there will be no winner or looser here.
Only things to gain here are fun and experience people.

Here are the stats>>>

Tempo>>>247bpm.
Time sig>>>>6/8
File type>>>>AIFF/24bit/48khz....(yup its a big dl'd)
Anyone who cant import the aiff architecture needs to go to google and dl'd "Audacity" it will covert them to Wav's for you, and its a free prog, so there you go Wav'ers.

Guess the only thng left is to post the link eH? :D ;)

Enjoy everyone.

AWESOME!!!! Maybe I can get rid of these shakes now...:)

Man... another huge one... my dial-up hates these things... haha.
Anybody wanna "lossless compress" it for me?

On that note is .ape as good as it claims to be?

its allready compressed with a lossess compression.

(man that was redundant sounding)

Oh is that what aiff is?? Haha.
How many tracks are there???

Or did you mean that by being "zipped" it was compressed in a "lossless" manner?

Ok, I'll bite. I putzed around with it while working on a new hangover while also watching the Tigers find yet another new way to lose... just a quick mix, nothing special.

That was a pretty cool mix 7string. I just started on mine, and now have to restart. I will be embarrased when I am done, but am going to try. Nice sounds.

I'm so tempted to totally tweak in some new percussion parts (read: embellish) :) But my drums are packed up for a gig tomorrow night

So, I just played with what you have Chris... I really like this song...
(If you ever need a drummer, I'm only 90 minutes away) ;)

Here's my first stab:

PMC10 + 2 glasses of Shiraz

Still fighting these Edirol 10D's until I can get some real monitors so please feel free to tell me where the mud and icepicks are hitting you the worst...

:D

Ok, after much thinking and even more drinking here's my 2nd mix. Worked on the delay at the end of the song and added a little something for ambience. Brought up the timpani a touch, re-amped the acoustic DI to my Triple Rectifier with gain on eleven-teen (NOT!) and a few touch up things. ;)

Now for a quick review: I like this song. Sucker has grown on me! Great voice. Kinda different voice AND song. Extremely nice acoustic guitar work but you gotta work on the string slide noise, which is the only thing that keeps me from being envious. All in all, great job on the tracks. Very clean, very well performed. I give it an 8.

I like the extra verb on the end strings, that was a nice touch. :)

Sound effect was cool though! :)

Hi CHris,
