There was a time...

I can remember a time when 2 joints were essential studio "tools" too. Oh wait, that picture was titled joints2. Sorry 'bout that; my bad! :D :D :D :D

Looks exceedingly great Michael! BTW, did you get that excel sheet I sent you a few months ago that you asked me for? I never heard anything about it...
 
Wow... we go from pictures of Michael trying to finish up the studio he's bequeathing to me... to stories about frederic blowing sawdust out his main trap... man that must smart.

Looking good Michael... can't wait to buy the studio from you when they foreclose on the house for all the money it cost you to build the place... I figure I should be able to get the house and studio for ohhh... I'd say $10,000 :)

I'll have to move to Texas though...

Hey Michael, where is the pulpit? :p Looks like a Gothic cathedral! A big set of organ pipes would fit right in. Hmmm, maybe act as a diffuser too! Nice work though Michael. Bet those angled wall studs were fun. So, when is the grand opening party planned?

I'd fit in well in texas. I have several stetsons, more cowboy boots than my wife has shoes, and a Ford F350 crewcab :)

I unfortunately hate the smell of livestock, however.

16' ceilings Rick!

I quit trying to make plans, or stick to a schedule a couple of months ago. ;)
The slab was poured Jan. 2nd, so I'm comming up on a 1 year construction period. :(
Hopefully by then I'll be finishing the floor and trim! No promises though.
 
I've been travelling the last couple of days so just got to the point I could see what else is happening here. Some fun. We're all in Michael's will now!!! Yeeehaww!! (And by the way, Ft. Worth doesn't hold a candle to Dodge City, KS for the feel of REAL livestock!! You can smell that town 3 states over...)

Anyway, Michael, I'd love to be down there to help you with your project. Would be a great learning experience (though you'd probably fire this inexperienced framer in a heart beat for making a crooked cut, looking at your precise photos).
