Hey all,
I just got a tascam 144 interface for my laptop because I was having problems with my original soundcard. I've installed the drivers that came with the unit and followed the instructions but I'm having problems with recording through sonar 4. I've tried all three driver mode; ASIO, WDM/KS, ad 32 bit. None of these work properly, whether the problems are recording dropouts, distortion, etc. The Tascam unit came with Cubase LE, so I tried that too, but no luck. Does anyone have any insight as to what may be happening/what I can do to fix the problem. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
