A "repeater" is a device that takes a weak digital signal coming in one end and sends an identical but stronger signal out the other end. Similar to it's analog counterpart, the "booster", which is basically just an amplifier.
I guess keyboard, mouse, and video would require "boosting" because they are analog.
I *think* that mice & keyboards are limited to 10 ft. (by standards, not real life) and video is limited to like 6ft or something. 25ft might be pushing it. But then this might not have anything to do with your problem.
And you'll probably never find out since keyboard & mouse boosters (up to 80m) run at around $200!! Maybe there's a cheaper version. Do a search for the following keywords: keyboard mouse extender booster
First try various combinations of the the mouse & keyboard with & without extentions and give us the results.
