Im using sonar 5 producer is sounds perfect for what I need, the only problem is its not realtime like the other effects. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good pitch shifter that wont loose much quality but i can use real time. such as a vst. preferably something free, I know thats probably not an option becuase most of the free ones i found start to sound odd after a couple semitones, but I dont have much to spend right now and I its not for a purpose i could convince myself to spend alot of money on. do you guys have any good suggestions

PS: im not really sure if this is the best forum to post this in

Which pitch shifter? All of the effects work in real time for me... be it the Cakewalk pitch shifter or the roland v-vocal.

the cakewalk pitch/time stretch, it will only let me use it if i go up to processes and select it so it addes it to the track after i have recorded, and im not all that familiar with v-vocal but isnt it the same as the other one, you can just tell it to dropp all pitches played say 2 semitones ?

so no one knows of any free or cheap realtime pitch shifters that are any good?
