VERY cool pictures. Thanks for putting them up.

Every time I think of taking pictures of my studio I wonder how long it would take to clean up enough so it wouldn't be embarrassing. I'm a slob and the only place in my house I'm allowed, LOL, to be a slob is my two studios.

Your setup looks so well organized and the room so clean that if I didn't know better I'd think they were shots of a retail MI store. So what'd you really do, hike over to Skip's Music and take those gear pics (well, except for the shed and the root beer can) so you wouldn't have to spend all day cleaning and arranging stuff? That's what I'd do.

Skips is still around but GC moved in out in the Arden area. It's sad cause you have to respect Skip but it means better prices for everybody. You are a man of many talents, Tim. :cool:

Man, that studio is the shiznit. I'd show mine, but I almost had to kill Tim when he saw pics of it.....Actually he almost died laughing, and his wife asked that I never show such things again.... :D

I got that bass in '86, which means I've owned it now for 19 years!
Damn I feel old.

I knew that any Chris Squire fan would dig that bass.
 
Nice pics guys. I can't believe you are recording all this stuff in that small room. Awesome. I dig that green snare. What's the white thing behind Incanus?

You bet ya, that is the bass....

I mean Fender makes great stuff as well, but once I plucked the string of a Rickenbacker I was sold...

I wish I had one of those Twin necks rickenbackers, you know the one Michael Rutherford used in genesis.

A cool bass on a very cool song, Ihave to listen to the track again.

It's an air conditioner/dehumidifier. Sacramento gets 110f plus in the summertime. The green snare is a DW "side" snare. It's got a lot of character and dosen't get out much. It would be awesome for funk.

Just back for another listen, not that I need to come here to do that, since it is downloaded on my disc. :D But I must come here to say how great the sounds are, and to tell Supercreep and Incanus how wonderful they are and how much I luv them!!! :) You guys ROCK!!! :cool:I've always had a weakness for guys acting the fool!! :D
