Personal Top 3 - Best websites for selling and promoting your music

Hi, everyone. I am interested in your opinion about the best websites to promote and sell your music out there. Which is your number 1 and why? I am just getting started with this so please help me gain perspective :) . Thank you!
 
"Promote" - that's the key. It doesn't matter much WHERE you host your music, but you (or your agent) need to constantly be working to get your music listened to - that's the hard part. Just uploading to reverbnation, or songs avaialble on bandcamp, amazon, iTunes, etc won't get you listened to by itself.
 
I mostly just post dozens of threads across the homerecording.com forums trolling for posts.

Check out youtube and soundcloud because theyre free, easy to setup, and constantly have people browsing on them. Make sure you fill in descriptions and tags. Heres some pointers you can use to your advantage
