yeah ...... I find that as I grow as a musician, I hear old stuff in a new way. It's one of the most wonderful things to discover and rediscover music. For instance Bob Marley. I've heard his music many times on the radio and at parties. So when i decide to check someone out i will do some investigating. I picked up his Exodus record and absolutely love it. As i'm listening i will get on the internets and check out not only the artist, but also what was happening in the world at that time. Kinda like using the internet as a time machine. I've since bought 3 more Marley records and the Live At The Rainbow concert. Unbelievable performances on that. I would play Bob EVERYDAY last summer. His music seems like it just can't be played loud enough.
One of the greatest gifts music has to offer is that it is always there waiting to be discovered and rediscovered.
However, sometimes that's not so good. Recently I ran across a Jefferson Airplane album and spun it ....... shockingly horrible!
